While I’m Waiting

I thought I already have Jose Luis and Isabel in my womb but I was wrong. My menstruation came and I am in pain. For now, it is not just the physical dimension that makes me tired but it is the intense longing for the my twins that leaves me exhausted.

Father, there are times when I could not understand why those who are not planning to have babies end up having babies. Some babies even end up killed through senseless abortions. My heart breaks whenever I hear another case of teenage pregnancy. My soul bleeds whenever I hear babies are unwanted.

In the midst of my deep longings and mounting anxieties,  I choose to be still. I choose to take a deep breath and offer a prayer. In the midst of the rumblings of my heart, I choose to sing to You…

“I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait”

Thank You, dear Lord, for teaching Piao and I valuable lessons for the past four years. The intense years of growth and discovery made me realize a lot of lessons, getting me ready for what is yet to come. I do not want to stay stuck, that is why I am determined to take the steps of faith.

“I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience
While I’m waiting
I will serve You
While I’m waiting
I will worship
While I’m waiting
I will not faint
I’ll be running the race
Even while I wait”

Father, thoughts of motherhood have become more intense the past few months. I believe it is never to early to start praying for my future children.  Instead of worrying, I will start praying even now for Isabel and Jose Luis who will someday rest in my arms. Please grant me the joy and the determination to pray for my children every day for the rest of my life.

“I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it’s not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait”

You know what is best for me and Piao. You know when is the right time to grant our heart’s desires. I choose to praise You and thank You as You see me through this transformation process. I will wait upon You, dear Lord.

That’s so sad, Ma’am. Sorry if this is going to sound too harsh, but, I know a lot of babies at CSWDO and other orphanages who would like to have a mom like you! 😀 I wish for the best for you and sir Paul!

Pero may hope pa naman, right? Sana you’ll have your babies soon! I’ll pray for you!

    • Thanks a lot for praying with me, dear Kiko. Yes, there’s hope for Paul and I. We just have to be physically fit and ready, hehehe. I am a “mother” to several children now. We are also considering to adopt a little girl named Duday. We are still seeking God’s direction and timing for that plan.

Hi ate Jie! Your faith is an inspiration to your readers. God gave up His only son Jesus – the best that heaven has for you and me. If God gave us Jesus, how will He not also with Him give us freely all things? Receive your miracle and rest in the finished work of Jesus. Praying for you and kuya Paul, and your twins too. Shalom.

    While we are waiting,
    We will be more thankful,
    We will be more prayerful,
    We will be more hopeful
To God in every area of our lives.

    I love you so much!
