Embracing the Intention of Christmas

This Season of Peace, my Piao and I received a beautiful message via the sermon of Rev. Andres Docena, Jr. entitled “Embracing the Intention of Christmas”.

And just what is the intention of Christmas? Pastor Andoy (as what we fondly call Rev. Docena) emphasized that “it is to introduce God’s Government to mankind in order to bring people to a higher quality of life.” Once more, we were reminded that God sent His one and only Son for a reason.

This Christmas, let us focus on what really matters. Let us worship Him in spirit and in truth. Let us proclaim His power and never give up. Let us trust His rule by submitting to it.

Isaiah 9:6-7 (NIV)

6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the greatness of his government and peace
there will be no end.
He will reign on David’s throne
and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it
with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever.
The zeal of the LORD Almighty
will accomplish this.

Christ is the Reason for the Season. Let us Celebrate Him!

Who are we? We are everyone involved in creating and maintaining the culture that define us.
We, as FILIPINOs, should spread the real meaning of Christ’s birth, and why are we annually celebrating it.
I’m so excited for incoming Christmas eve. Gift! Gift! Gift!
Continue living because someone needs you or everybody needs you. Love lots ma’am.:)
